About Simone Verrone
MA, NCC, LPC
Simone is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and a Certified EMDR Therapist, holding an Undergraduate Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling. In addition to her private practice, she is also a faculty member at the Denver Family Institute (DFI).
Her experience as a clinician includes work with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship & attachment difficulties, adoption & multicultural issues, and PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). Simone’s post-master’s training and certifications include an MFT Certificate from DFI in 2013, becoming a TBRI-Approved therapist in 2014, and completed more than 70 hours of EMDR-Child Specialist Training with the AGATE Institute as of 2016. Her goal is to provide counseling that offers a respectful and confidential process for her clients, within a warm, empathetic, and understanding therapeutic relationship.
